    How do i setup a 301 redirect on BC?

      I have an individual domain that my client is advertising publicly, but for SEO purposes we have built his website on another domain. We need to 301 redirect the advertised/public domain to point to the website domain. So, website is built on builderschristchurch.co.nz (which will incur Google rankings) and the advertised domain is buildit.net.nz which simply needs to redirect to builderschristchurch.co.nz (the website domain).

          This is nothing to do with 301 redirects. You need to set up a domain level redirect in your domain host, or you can add the domain in your BC domain manager, set that domain on the registra then mark that as a forwarding URL to the domain you want.

           

          You mention SEO for one of the domains, You need to be aware that what your doing, with multiple domains will harm the SEO of that site.
