RodWard Nov 4, 2014 8:38 PM (in response to chrisbynambrown)Check that your video filename is all lower case characters and has no spaces or punctuation characters.
Check that your website admin has set the video mime-type as an allowed filetype.
Link to the HTM file that Captivate publishes and not to the SWF as you have done in the link above.
Make sure ALL published output files have been successfully uploaded to the web location, incuding the video file.

(making sure no capitals, linking to the html file) I had probably just put some of the files in the wrong folder on my server. A stupid mistake. I'm rusty at html too! Need to keep in practice.
