Android e ipad resolution

Hello

I wanted to know if it is correct !?

I have to develop a magazine for IOS and Android.
I have created a specific version for iPad (1024x768) and one for iPhone (480x320), while I chose 1028x771 for Android that I read it would be more easily compatible with most device (as read in old forum in this blog).

Is correct?

Also, iPad (1024x768) pdf format and iPhone (480x320) pdf format, while Android I understand that does not support PDF so I will use jpg.
Is correct?

Because in android the app crash and close immediately at start.

You’re looking at some very old information. Android pretty much supports
everything that iOS does including PDF.

My advice is to save yourself the headache and use the iPad version for
everything else.

Please make sure you are using our new native Android viewer, not the old legacy viewer. You can build a native Android viewer by going to http://appbuilder.digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/. It supports everything the iOS viewer does, including PDF format articles and phones. For the content the easiest thing to do is to just re-use your iPad and iPhone folios. They will letterbox on the Android devices but will still render nicely. If you really want to make a custom layout for Android we suggest 1280x800.

It is not yet possible to publish on Android smartphones however ... Or am I wrong in this !?

You are reading very old information about our Android support. Build a native Android viewer using the link I provided above and you will get phone support on android.
