What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated 12 to the 12.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so.
Please review the following Adobe document on troubleshooting Compiling Error Movie
If you do not spot the problem after reading the above document, we will discussion the construction of your specific Premiere Elements Timeline
to try to determine issues within it.
Ho aggiornato il software ma il problema persiste.
Potrebbe essere un problema del sistema operativo windows XP ?
Thank you for the reply.
Premiere Elements 12/12.1 is a 32 bit application when it is run on Windows XP 32 or 64 bit. So, that is a computer resource limiting factor since
32 bit system maximum supported installed RAM = 4 GB of which 3 GB or less are available.
But, if you are getting "compiling error movie" message, I think that you need to explore what you have on the project Timeline
Expand the Timeline with the zoom out zoom in slider above the Timeline and look for irregularities in the Timeline content.
a. If you press the End key of the computer keyboard, does the Timeline Indicator go to the end of the last item of the Timeline or does it
go beyond that? If it goes beyond, then inspect that area for fragments/leftovers of unwanted frames.
b. Look at the placement of transitions and titles and audio - look for unnecessary gaps.
What is the total duration of the Timeline?
What are the properties of whatever you have on the Timeline of this 5 minute project?
What did you or the project set as the project preset? (See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase,
Frame Size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio).
What are you selecting as your export choice -
All of the above will help us to sort through the details. Right now I suspect a Timeline content problem rather than a computer problem.
Looking forward to your results and report.
