Thanks for your help but the SDK in your link does not work for 17.0. I have asked Adobe support for help and they have provided me with the right SDK.
In what way doesn't it work?
The CC SDK Readme actually says it it version 17.0.
Plugins (Annotator sample) do not load: "Error loading plugin". The readme inside the windows sdk zip states it is version 17.1. Anyway, Adobe has provided me with the right SDK (17.0) and my plugin works fine now.
Did someone find the SDK for 17.0?
I have the same problem. I also need to support 17.0 with my Plugin.
But I just found out, if you change
AIUserSuiteVersion from 12->11
You are able to load the Plugin BUT for example sAIUser->GetDirectoryDialog
does not support version 11
And I think some other functions will not work to...but no "Error loading plugin" anymore
You can't just change the version values -- if the versions are different, it means the suites defined have different methods. It might work in some cases; often functions are added at the bottom in the new version of a suite. But if you call any of those functions it will crash because they weren't defined in the older suite. Worse, if parameters have changed somewhere in the middle of the suite, you'll get random, unpredictable behaviour.
Bottom line: you can't hand-modify the 17.1 SDK into the 17.0 SDK -- you need the 17.0 SDK.
If it is correct to ask, could you please share 17.0 version of SDK you have? I just talked to the Adobe support and they've told me they can't help me with that and that I should find this version of SDK in the inet by myself. I can't find it anywhere though.

Did they lose it down the back of the sofa?
As all the CC SDKs are forward compatible, the 17.0 SDK is actually the most useful. As long as you don't use any new features since 17.0, you can build with this SDK and it will run on all CC versions (CC 17.0 to CC 2015.3).
Anyway I have put my copy here:
Will be available until it has been downloaded 1000 times.
Thank you very much, LeoTaro!!!
