Only 100 connections using CF 11 Standard?

Can anyone explain this statement from: Buying guide | Adobe ColdFusion 11 Enterprise

"** No more than hundred connections can be made using Standard, unlimted on Enterprise"

What type of "connection?" A request? A web socket? Any kind?

If you look for the double asterisks (**) on the page, you'll see they are next to two items related to websockets:
