    Setting up multiple editable Data Grid rows

    AU_PSD
      I am a new user to MXML and Flex 2, I am in the process of trying to create a simple spreadsheet Data Grid that can be edited. The first row of the DataGrid allows for data entry but any other rows will not. I have looked through the Flex 2 Developers guide and searched the forums and havent been able to find any additional commands or strings that I am missing in order to make all rows editable fields. I have attached the bit of coding below, I'm sure this is something obvious that I am missing and any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <mx:Application xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute">
      <mx:DataGrid x="0" y="0" width="100%" height="100%" rowCount="30" rowHeight="40"
      editable="true" enabled="true" columnWidth="30" variableRowHeight="true"
      id="dataGrid1" allowMultipleSelection="true" sortableColumns="true" visible="true"
      dataProvider="{initDG}" resizableColumns="true" verticalGridLines="true"
      horizontalGridLines="true" allowDragSelection="true" draggableColumns="true"
      dropEnabled="true" >
      <mx:columns>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Req" dataField="col1"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Student" dataField="col2"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Class" dataField="col3"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Professor" dataField="col4"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="AMX" dataField="col5"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Title" dataField="col6" wordWrap="200"
      resizable="true"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="ED" dataField="col7"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="ISBN#" dataField="col8"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Author" dataField="col9"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Publisher" dataField="col10"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="RFBD" dataField="col11"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="BK" dataField="col12"/>
      <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Notes" dataField="col13"/>
      </mx:columns>
      </mx:DataGrid>
      </mx:Application>
