could use some help/advice on "work flow" (not sure if this is the workflows or just a work flow we would do manually).
We want to be able to notify a user/admin, not a customer, about a change in the status of an order record.
EG:
- order was completed a week ago
- customer calls with problem
- we look up order
- we change status (or set the workflow) of order to "problem" (this would then kick an email to the person "assigned to") so they can work the problem. I tried creating a workflow with a step (to send an email), but setting the workflow in the order manually does not kick it off. <--is this possible or is there a different solution?
