What is the exact wording of the error?
Thanks for your interest to help. Below is the message I receive when trying to start LightRoom 5.3
I click on the LR (5.3) icon and receive this message in a small window: “Unexpected error opening catalog. The catalog could not be opened due to an unexpected error.” with 3 choices: Try Again, Choose a Different Catalog, Exit.
