Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 works well on Windows 7 64 bit computer, desktop and laptop.

1. On your computer, uninstall Premiere Elements 9 from your computer the usual Control Panel way.

2. Do a free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts)

3. Download and install the tryout of Premiere Elements 9 from the following web site

and insert your purchased serial number during installation when required.

The key to success here is to read and carry out carefully the "Note: Very Important Instructions" on

the web page in order to avoid an Access Denied message.

4. After you have Premiere Elements 9 installed, be sure to install the 9.0.1 Update before using the

program. The 9.0.1 Update can be installed with Premiere Elements 9 closed.

Before you go through all of the above, please verify

a. You are running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges

b. Your computer is connected to the Internet

c. You have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer

d. The issue exists with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

e. Video card/graphics card, up to date, 1 or 2 cards?
