1. Re: why don't colored markers in Prelude keep their color in Premiere?
Mark Mapes Nov 10, 2014 11:35 PM (in response to ninose11)Judging from the blue highlight visible in the screenshots, you appear to be on CC2014.1 (that's a very good detail to note explicitly.)
I just tested a batch of markers added in Prelude and found that the marker colors survived.
How did you set the marker colors in Prelude? I did so by changing the marker type.

ninose11 Nov 11, 2014 5:30 AM (in response to Mark Mapes)Hi Mark, thank you for showing me this. But your different colored markers are actually the default "comment, flash cue, web link, chapter, speech" markers.
I'm talking only about the Comment Markers. Whatever color I set them to in Prelude, those same Comment Markers markers always end up being the default dark green in Premiere. And, yes, I am running the very latest version of all Adobe CC programs...2014.1 (October's update).
Let's say for example that I prefer white as a color for comment markers in Prelude.
Why is it that they change their color to dark green when they show up in Premiere?
I think many of us would like to see a fix for this that allows whatever color marker we choose in Prelude to be respected in Premiere.

3. Re: why don't colored markers in Prelude keep their color in Premiere?
Mark Mapes Nov 11, 2014 11:30 PM (in response to ninose11)Ah-ha. Turns out I was on Prelude CC2014.0.1, and the option Use Tag Color for Marker Types is new to 2014.1.
Given that the feature is so new to Prelude, I think it's a safe bet that Premiere simply has not yet made the changes necessary to preserve the marker color. I don't happen to know where in our feature backlog that falls, but there's no harm in submitting a feature request: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form
