Can you please share your crash logs ? In which workflow it crashes ?
Thanks for the reply.
After posting this question, I received a private message from Admin System Support saying I should uninstall Creative Cloud and they'll send me a copy of CS6.
This didn't sound like something Adobe would suggest and there was no way I'd go for that option anyway, so I started a live support chat.
Their suggestion was for me to try Dreamweaver in a different Admin account on this Mac.
I hadn't yet tried uninstalling and re-installing Dreamweaver, as this is also quite time consuming when you have a mountain of work to get through and was hoping for a solution similar to deleting a cache file.
An uninstall and reinstall was a quicker option that creating another Admin account, so I did that and it seems to be running OK now.
I'll post an update towards the end of the week if things are still looking good, but if not, I'll try the advice above.
Thanks for you response and I will share a link to one of my crash logs shortly, but my Creative Cloud files are currently refusing to sync.
I'm getting really annoyed now!
My error log has now synced... http://adobe.ly/1u5hw67
Every other file in my Creative Cloud folder has been removed, so my machine is now missing every website ever built!
All my websites are still in my Creative Cloud website files.
I can only assume, because I installed Creative Cloud within another Admin account on this computer, so that I could test Dreamweaver, based on Adobe's recommendation, Creative Cloud has now synced based on the empty Creative Cloud folder in the other Admin account.
Please can someone provide urgent advice on the best way to get my Creative Cloud files back on to my machine?
I've been on the phone to support and Creative Cloud decided to move all my files to the new test admin account on this machine.
I've logged into the test admin account and moved the files to my shared folder, deleted the test admin account, moved the files from the shared folder back into the Creative Cloud folder and it's now re-syncing with the cloud.
I've noticed that loads of my files are missing from the folders on this computer, so the sync process it probably going to remove those files from the cloud instead of pulling them back down to this machine.
Creating another test admin account was a bad idea and I'm annoyed that I was advised to do this.
Syncing stopped working, so I phoned support again, they took over my PC, did the log out / log in to get the syncing started again.
Minutes after getting off the phone, syncing stopped again.
I decided it was quicker to drive home, copy all of my Creative Cloud files onto an external disk and then bring them back to work to copy back on to this machine.
I've done that now, so both my work and home computers, along with my Creative Cloud files are all identical again, but syncing has been locked on file 3 of 271127 for an hour now and says it has 71048 hr left.
This system is shocking.
