Herbert2001 Nov 10, 2014 11:22 PM (in response to Rincewind020)You do realize Adobe discontinued the development of Fireworks in May 2013? Almost 18 months ago - it might be a better idea to invest your time and money in a different tool. You will receive no support or updates from Adobe.
Just saying...

Herbert2001 Nov 11, 2014 12:47 AM (in response to Rincewind020)...a trial of Fireworks CS6 - with no updates forthcoming ever, unfortunately. You would be better off investigating other options. Currently, there is still no complete alternative available on the market - at least, not in the form and shape of a single application.
I switched to a combination of Photoline, InkScape, and Color Quantizer (awesome PNG web exporter/optimizer). (Photoline has a great app-link to link up to InkScape)
A number of Ex-FIW users are now using Photoshop, yet others swear by Sketch (only available for Mac).
