Adobe Acrobat XI edit forms crashes

    macmeadows Community Member

I have a 21 page form with active fields. Forms editing crashes as soon as I touch the field to be editted.

My software is up to date.

I have a deadline to edit this and other forms.

Turning off this preference setting sometimes helps: Edit > Preferences > Forms > Automatically adjust tab order when modifying fields

Thanks for the reply. I recreated the files, as I had not done much work. I did get some modal about wrong structure...and now I don't. One of the forms is an MLS sheet for a local real estate company -->create form...from file...etc. I thought it did an adequate job, creating fields based on the static text and textboxes. Yet my team mate swears it is not worth using as there are some fields to be deleted or added. I am confused because 85% of tedium is done. Am I missing something or is it just his workflow? I do not see a  show stopper with what is created.
