1. Re: Captivate 8, HTML5: Unable to drag objects using the index.html
Lilybiri Nov 10, 2014 2:06 PM (in response to kberryman_mlink)Are you talking about a normal or a responsive project? Did you install the
update to 8.0.1.242?

kberryman_mlink Nov 10, 2014 3:44 PM (in response to kberryman_mlink)I have not upgraded at this time, but I can if that will fix the issues I'm having with the published files.
To clarify, my project is NOT a responsive project. I'm just selecting HTML5 on the publish. And I am testing it locally, on our company server, and online. The drag and drop does not work in any instance of the index.html any of these locations.

RodWard Nov 10, 2014 7:33 PM (in response to kberryman_mlink)When you say you are testing it 'online' do you mean from a web server? Testing from a LAN server is not going to work.

windscorpion Nov 11, 2014 3:33 AM (in response to kberryman_mlink)Try upgrading, one of the improvements was to drag and drop. It should work locally in your browser. Are your drag objects text or graphics, i've found the latter work better.

kberryman_mlink Nov 11, 2014 7:34 AM (in response to kberryman_mlink)I am testing on a web server...it's unix if that matters. My drag objects are graphics and my targets are smart shapes.

7. Re: Captivate 8, HTML5: Unable to drag objects using the index.html
RodWard Nov 11, 2014 4:37 PM (in response to kberryman_mlink)Maybe your current project has become corrupted in some way. Start a new blank project with just one or two slides and add a very simple drag and drop interaction to that. See if that works. If it does, then your issue is located in your current project somewhere.
