Why doesn't the Apple Color Picker work on Photoshop CS6/Yosemite?

      Hi -

Since upgrading to Yosemite (10.10) I find that the Apple Color Picker doesn't work as expected in that I am unable to sample a color from the current image.  The eye dropper inside the picker doesn't work.  It can't be dragged from the dialog to the image.  When clicked it doesn't result it an eye dropper over the image.  In frustration I just click OK and when the picker dialog goes away I have a magnifier glass type area for a cursor until I click.  At that moment the magnifier goes away but the foreground color has not changed.

After searching this forum I have installed the WhiteWIndowWorkaround and unchecked "Use Graphics Processor" in PSD Prefs.  No improvement came from these changes.

Yosemite is fully updated as is CS6.

Are other MacBook Pro users are having the same issue?

So I would appreciate any information on how to fix this so that I can use the ACP as I am accustomed to.

      Thanks,

      JL
