SteveG(AudioMasters) Nov 11, 2014 11:06 AM (in response to Dave Lalande)If you are careful, you should be able to pitch-shift just the final syllable of the affected word downwards - although I suspect that this will make the speaker sound a little strange if you overdo it - you'd have to experiment. It would almost certainly sound better than rolling the volume off though.

Yes to using a slight pitch shift but I'd go slightly farther than Steve and suggest that you also split last word into a separate clip and do a very fast mix from normal to shifted pitch just to cover the transition.
