    Export from PDF to Word - Issue with Exporting Correctly

      I recently downloaded Acrobat Adobe Pro to export a document from PDF into Word.

       

      It exported but not all the fields could be edited with text. Certain fields could however.

       

      Is this a problem with the document itself not recognising the fields as textable options or with Acrobat Adobe Pro?

       

      Is there an alternative?

          Each version of Acrobat has improved on this export option. However, depending on the structure of the PDF it may or may not work well. You have the choice of flow or format in the export. How well the export does depends on the tagging of the PDF and how well Acrobat can determine the properties that are needed in the WORD file. You may not be able to do better with Acrobat (there are some 3rd party products that focus on this conversion exclusively). Was your original a scan or a printed file?
