Yosemite frequent CC 2014 crashes

Only noticed since upgrading to Yosemite – CC apps crash often, most notably when importing or opening dialog boxes.

The nice side effect is that auto-backup system keeps dumping useless garbage into hidden folders, constantly eating up HDD space, which I then need to restart to rid myself of.

Any help?

How did you "upgrade" to Yosemite? Adobe apps often respond badly to in-place upgrades.

Peter is correct. In place O/S upgrades are nothing but a crapshoot. I cannot possibly preach clean installs loudly enough.

I did my MacBook Air that way and everything runs like a dream.
