How to create an Image slideshow?

I would like to create a 4-5 images slideshow at the top left of my home page. I have DW CS6 installed on my desktop computer. All I want is to have my images alternate both automatically and manually is the views want to expedite the slideshow. Can someone please show me in detail how to achieve this task?

There's nothing built into DW that can do this for you, so any answer you get is going to involve at least some hand coding. One of the easiest scripts to do this kind of thing is jQuery Cycle2

The option you are looking for in Cycle 2 is in the Demos section under Pagers
