With Adobe acrobat i keep getting the following error:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat10.0\Acrobat\AcroTray.exe

The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the even log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more details.

Please can someone help?

I would start by doing a REPAIR of Acrobat. Use Add/Remove programs but DON'T UNINSTALL, choose Change/Repair instead.

Thanks for responding. I have just done the repair and the error is still present.

The error happens when I want to 'print' a document to PDF but then the error pops up - dont know if that helps but any other suggestions?

I have solved the issue...

Looks like the Microsoft Visual C++ had corrupted. Removed Adobe and C++, rebooted machine and installed Adobe again and is now working with no error.
