You may need to reinstall. If so, it may be a good thing to reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

if you have installed the English version (no need to uninstall the Swedish one), you must set the System language to English.
Go to the System Preferences > Language & Region (or whatever is says in Swedish) > Drag English to the top position in Preferred languages.
Close the System Preferences, no need to restart if asked.
Start Illustrator, it should now show the English version.
To switch back to Swedish, drag Swedish to the top in Preferred languages.
