Milan which Adobe software title are you attempting to utilize TypeKit in?
This tends to happen in inDesign but also sometimes in Illustrator.
Moving this discussion to the InDesign forum.
Exactly what version of InDesign are you using?
The dialog looks quite different from that in InDesign CC and CC 2014. It's pre-Typekit because with Typekit there was added a "Sync" checkbox beside each font. The font type is no longer shown. And display of the font list under Replace with now is not contained within the space it was earlier.
It looks like you need to update to the latest version of InDesign to get a change.
InDesign CC 2014.
Thank you Steve.
The screenshots were taken from Illustrator CC 2014 since this most recently happened to me in Illustrator I grabbed the screenshots as soon as I could with posting them here in mind.
I have noticed two different type kits appear when I open InDesign CC 2014 / Illustrator CC 2014
Both the pre-type kit that limits my view of the fonts and the type kit that allows me to type in exactly what font I need.
The only problem is that I do not seem to have control as to which type kit comes up when I open InDesign CC 2014 / Illustrator CC 2014.
I am updating Illustrator CC 2014, InDesign CC 2014 says it is up to date.
Hopefully with the update this stops occurring in Illustrator CC 2014.
Now that you mentioned the updates, this problem hasn't seemed to happen to me in InDesign CC 2014 in the past week. Maybe InDesign CC 2014 on my system was recently updated on my system and it took care of that.
I guess I will be able to tell by what type kit is prompted in Illustrator CC 2014 after it is finished updating.
InDesign CC was updated to InDesign CC 2014.1 in October so that might have improved the display.
