I am quite new with scripts and don’t know much about it but I have an InDesign document with a lot of bullets and I need to apply a paragraph style to all these bullets, without having to manually select all of them.
Is there a way I could do this? I tried to modify a couple of existing scripts I found but I don’t understand enough of it to make it work.
Thanks for your help!
You don't need scripting for this. Simply search for bullets, and apply
a paragraph style using the regular Find/Change UI. If you need more
details, best to ask in the regular forum.
I tried to do that, but I couldn't find an option that lets me apply a style to a character. I can either find/replace a character by a character, or a format by a format but not character to format, that's why I need a script.
Of course you can apply a character style to a character with find/change.
I still recommend asking in the main forum. If they tell you to come
here, come back, but meanwhile, this doesn't sound like it needs scripting.
