I've discovered to how to do 2 monitors.
Window --> Dual Monitor Workspace
Strangely, the timeline pops across to #2 but minimising whole interface manually it cn be moved across to #2 -- the timeline will then go to either screen.
What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
For now assuming Premiere Elements 11, 12/12.1, or 13 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
Please review how you have set up for more than one monitor in the computer's display settings - duplicate display or
extend desktop display.
On the Premiere Elements side of things, keep in mind that these versions have a problem remembering dual monitor workspace
with that project's save close reopen.
Please review and consider.
- Elements 13 trial on W8
- The display is set at extended - or as I like to put it one big screen with an air gap!
- I discovered by myself you have to have it on expert setting --> but it seems a bit sensitive ---> if you drag the interface from one to the other then the whole thing has to be set up again.
- Plus I can't seem to get the time line to fit at the bottom on one screen once I've had it on its own in the other.
I've bought AE13 and wondering if PowerDirector might have been a better bet?
One of the major advantages of exploring the tryout version before purchase is to assure the compatibility of the program with your computer environment and your project goals.
I have not used PowerDirector so I have no comparisons of products to offer on that.
Please update us on your progress when you get a chance.
