Cannot install Flash Player

Mac 10.9.5 and installation process has been unsuccessful. Error comes up at 70%. Over and over again. Frustrating. I have taken Flash off my computer and it still does not work.

Force quit Safari. This seems to be a big problem out there. What's up?

Did you ever get an answer to your question?  I'm a Mac 10.7.5 user and am likewise frustrated.

No, I have not. I am ready to pull my hair out. This has taken hours of my time and I cannot figure out what I am doing incorrectly.

Try the offline installer http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg

OMG Pat, you are my sunshine! I tried “offline” Flash Player installs but they did not work.

It installed!

You are a total rock star. It worked! For some reason all of the other "offline" installs did not work. This is HUGE!
