I have a 3D rounded rectangle that looks like a TV monitor. I have used the stroke the create the screen frame and the fill is the screen. Is there a way for me to attach a texture to the fill of the rectangle so, I can have something on the monitor screen? I am using AE CC on a Mac Pro. I saw a youtube video on how to cheat the effect in AE CS6 but wanted to know if CC has a better work flow?
You will have to use Cinema 4D Lite and Cineware for more texturing options.
Track matte and corner pin. Think layers.
You could use a alpha matte, or what i would recommend. Is the texturize effect. as long as your texture is in the comp, even turned off, it should do the trick. unless i misunderstand the question.
