hi rdukette, I had the same problem that you describe. Uninstalling Indesign using the Uninstall program, as suggested by John, and then downloading the latest version did do the trick in my case.
For CC-2014 to install on your mac, I believe you will have to update to at least 10.7 or above to get Indesign CC 2014. Mentioned below link shares the details of Min system requirement.
Hi Kartikay, I upgraded my OS to 10.10.1, uninstalled the InDesign CC 9.2.2 and reinstalled InDesgn CC... it still launches as 9.2.2. Very frustrated. I am on a Mac Pro (2009), does that make any difference?
