Sound .... I lost my Panning!

    staceyp_2004 Level 1
      Hello,
looking for some help with sound in flash. I need to keep my panning with mp3s that are in my flash. There is panning in the files, but flash didn't keep the panning when loaded into swf.

anyone know what I can do?

          Hey I got it...
just in case any one else is looking for this...

double click on the sound icon in the library and change Compression from Default to MP3

Actually, it's not so much the compression setting that matters as the
setting to play the sound as mono or stereo. Mono sounds are smaller, of
course, but less spatially dynamic, so there are trade offs. Flash offers a
pretty neat feature, though, in that it can pan mono sounds to give the
illusion of stereo (in a basic sense). That can be addressed either via the
Sound class in ActionScript or via the Property inspector settings in a
            frame-attached sound.
