PPAPI Debug player is not throwing error popups

I have installed 16.0.0.228 PPAPI debug flash player for Chrome 39, but it only logs into flashlog and doesn't throw the error popups.

I have checked that: SuppressDebuggerExceptionDialogs=0 in mm.cfg.

With NPAPI debug player, the popups appear. I'm using Windows 7.

Is there something I have missed to check?

I'm not sure that we can throw the pop-ups in the PPAPI world.  You may need to tail the various log files instead.  There are a couple other threads on this with more specifics.
