I have a 1024 x 768 stage with a grey background. It contains .svg images with many (10 or so) hotspots that are interactive (switches and dials). This is for a simulation of an electronic switchboard. When it is published and played on an iPad or Tablet, the whole stage will slide under the user's finger swipe. This results in a white border showing along the edges temporarily, it then slides back into place when released. It ruins the effect of the simulation since a 1 ton switchboard should not slide around like this.
Any ideas how I can tack it down???
Answering myself here but I found out this problem is called "elastic scrolling" so when/if this happens with your app, just add a preventDefault on the touch event.
If anyone else has this problem, the way to fix it on iPads is to go into the xCode6 Swift and add:
webView.scrollView.bounces = false;
Thank you for sharing your solution with us. It will definitely help with a similar issue.
Have a wonderful week!
