You probably have to export to PDF and use the Booklet option in Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
In my experience, the printing options available in a program depend on the printer software that you install. That software usually comes from the printer manufacturer, and so what you see when you print might not be what I see when I print unless we have the same printer.
Print Booklet is pretty much an all-or-nothing proposition, and it isn't really much good for direct printing unless you have a duplexing printer. Windows users can use the Adobe PDF virtual printer installed with Acrobat Pro to print direct to PDF from Print Booklet, then print anything they like from the PDF, but Mac users mus jump though hoops printing to Postscript file and then distilling to get to the same place.
Before there was a booklet module in ID there were some scripts for doing simple imposition, and they still work, and the booklet options in Acrobat may be viable.
