reloading LightRoom on a new computer

i am planning on replacing my desk top computer that has LightRoom on it.  Can i install LightRoom on my new computer without un-installing from the old computer first?  does it look [via internet] to see if that license is already registered to a different computer?  i don't need it on both computers, but i don't want to have to buy it again and i want it registered to the correct computer.

Lightroom usage is not monitored by Adobe in that fashion. You are expected to honor the license agreement which allows you to install Lightroom on two computers for your own personal use.
