    Linking a flv file

      I know how to do this in dreamweaver but I currently have a website made in flash. I need to figure out how to link a flv file on a button I have; what script would I need to make it pop up in a player so it will not be full screen?

          That could mean anything and since we cannot see what you do in DW it is
          only a guess. But I will assume you mean window.open in Javascript.

          Use Actionscript getURL action for the button on the movie to communicate
          with Javascript that will open an other web page with a Flash movie or HTML
          DW that has the flv playing. Create a Javascript function in the movie's
          html page to do the work.

          Something along the lines in flash:
          myBtn_btn.onRelease = function(){
          getURL("javascript:thePopupLauncherFunction()");
          };
