"Desktop" is a folder:

and where do i put in C:\Users\*username*\Desktop
If you choose "Specific folder" you should be presented with a Windows Explorer browser window that displays destinations on your computer. Desktop should be one of those choices. You can export directly to the desktop, or if you prefer you can indicate a subfolder.
ahhh i use a mac and that option isn't there for me,once i select choose folder everything else in that section is greyed out
But I don't believe it's any different on the Mac. If you choose "specific folder" and then click on the "choose" button you should be able to locate the desktop in Finder and choose it as your destination.
thanks guys,i'm sorted,when i saw the choose option i thought i was to click on the triangle beside it but i've just realised it was the choose itself i was to click
