I seriously doubt that you will find any difference. Multiple hard drives were required to overcome the poor read/write speeds and access times of those mechancial devices. With your great choice of very high performance SSD's it should be perfect for anything but uncompressed or other very disk intensive codecs. One of your Samsung 850 Pro's has the same read/write performance as three hard drives and they are about >500 times faster access times.
I see. Thank you for clearing that up. I was not aware that the reason you just gave was the exact reason why multiples were so important.
So, given a 256GB and a 512GB 850 pro, is there any specific way that you would recommend allocating the various files (like page file, media cache, project files, etc)? You see, I've been following the guideline for the HDDs, and considering that, I don't know if there would be any specific difference in putting specific files on certain drives given the instance of using the aforementioned SSDs.
For example, I'm not sure how much space I should dedicate to the Media Cache.
