    Flash Button with Embedded Javascript

      MySpace.com does not allow javascript. Therefore, I would like to embed a simple rectangular flash button with javascript, where "when clicked," will launch a new browser of specified size.

      Here is the script I embedded in the flash:

      on (release) {
      getURL ("javascript:NewWindow=window.open(' http://www.Yahoo.com','newWin','width=200,height=200,left =0,top=0,toolbar=No,location=No,scrollbars=No,stat us=No,resizable=No,fullscreen=No'); NewWindow.focus(); void(0);");

      Here is the html I used to embed the .swf in my web page:

      <object width="200" height="200">
      <param name="movie" value="mov.swf">
      <embed src="mov.swf" width="200" height="200">

      When I tested my button in Flash MX 2004, the button opened up a new browser of specified size

      When I tested my button in firefox, nothing happened

      Any Ideas? Thanks!
