Ask the producer for what settings he/she wants
Please remind us what version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system it is running.
What were the Canon settings for your recordings - 1920 x 1080p25 or 1920 x 1080i25?
At this point, I do not see how it will matter much what settings (other than .mov and limit for the file size) your TV Producer Co. wants.
You want to present your recording to best possible advantage presumably with the format H.264.mov.
If you confirm your source video specifications, I will suggest the Premiere Elements QuickTime settings to use.

The producer just said "default" which wasn't a lot of use, so I saved it - as suggested - in H.264. The 8 minute clip resulted in a 1800Mb file which would have taken 10+ hours to ftp - so I burnt a DVD>
