When exporting video files to mp4, Premiere is adding about 6db to the audio levels resulting in my audio becoming clipped. When I re-import the mp4 file into Prem, I place it on the timeline next to the origianl and I can see from the waveform it's adding to the amplitude. I've checked my export settings (actually I'm using the 1080 Youtube preset) and can't see any reason for it to do this.
Any help appreciated.
If it is exactly 6db it sound like mono to stereo/ stereo to mono issues, could you post a screen shot of your export settings and a screenshot of your track mixer.
Agh! Of course. I completely forgot I'd raised the levels on A1 during the offline. I'd duped the timeline and just dropped the dub into track 1.
Thanks a million.
