So I was struggling with my (big) project, and I decided to make the files offline and clicked "Media Files Are Deleted" and man.... the files are GONE on my external HD...what can I do? Please help me.

      Regards.

Sorry. Choosing "Media Files are Deleted" does just that—it deletes the video files from your computer. You want this sometimes to delete media you are no longer using in the project. It is also a very dangerous feature if you are not careful. If you deleted media in this fashion, the only thing you can do is ingest the files once more from the original footage. Do you still have access to the original footage?

          Thanks,

          Kevin

            The pain....

The External HD is the only source...can I recover the deleted files?
