I have just purchased and downloaded Premiere Elements 12. When I open the software I get this error: "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into the drive \Device\Harddisk4\DR4."
If I click "cancel" 4x I am able to use the software. How can I prevent this error from popping up at all?

It is not the same version as yours and the drive is DR1, not DR4, but worthwhile checking out.
If that information does not help, please give us the details of your computer drives situation. Did you install from
installation files or installation disc?
