Yep, licence covers use on two machines at a time.
hello, I understand that to be true also. but i am unable to load LR5 onto my Macbook after having it on my desktop. Any suggestions? I have no access to Adobe chat or telephone support.
What is preventing you from loading it?
Hello and thank you. I purchased LR5 as a download from Adobe and have had
it on my desktop. Since I don't have a CD to load it on my laptop, I
downloaded a trial version of LR5 but had to do it within a trial of CC.
Now when I enter my serial # to load just LR5 it says it isn't a valid
number. I think the problem is I need to download LR5 as a stand alone but
I can't figure out how.
You are right. You cannot activate the CC licensed Lightroom with a serial number. It will be necessary for you to uninstall that version and then download and install from here:
Also, when I look up my order history and downloads on Adobe, my serial
number is associated with an "LR5 Mac/Win, English version but says its
"not applicable" but there is a download version "Multiple Languages"
available, which doesn't have a serial no. Is english one of the multiple
languages included in that version, do you know?

I think if you download from the link I provided your serial number should work. If not, then I don't have another answer for you.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!
It is now loaded onto my laptop! I am very grateful.
