I was attempting to update CC Desktop for Windows 7, but the update failed with Error Code: 50. Does anyone know what is this problem? CC Desktop is no longer functional and I need to recover. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the suggestion, Jeff. But your approach is unnecessary overkill. I subsequently learned from Adobe CC Tech Support that Error Code 50 denotes an installation failure due to 'conflicting processes.' Once those processes were manually stopped, a simple re-run of the installation was enough.
