You can link to another (PDF) document, but not to a another folder.
pls let me know the script to show link path of another pdf document.
You don't need a script. Just create a link with a "go to a page view" action and then open the other file and click the "Set Link" button in the floating window.
But the requirement is like this, one Button(name: Browse) and Text field(name:Link). By clicking, the Browse button, and choose the document location from the server. Then the file path of document location will be shown in the Text Field(Link). This Form will be sent to others, they can just click the link path shown in the TextField(Link) to open the document.
I see. That is more complicated to implement... Basically you could do it
- Set the text field's option "Field is used for file selection" under
Properties - Options.
- When the button is then clicked it will open a file selection dialog and
will populate the selected file path into the text field.

Thanks Mr Gilad..
The link of file is captured in the text field(Link) by clicking the button(Browse), but not able to open the file path from the text field(Link).
Is there any possibility to capture this file path in another button, then click that button to open the file.
You would need a script that is installed on the local machine of the users
to do that.
Mr. Gilad, Is the same script given above or different script. Please let me know the script to be installed in local m/c.
