I need to create a html5 banner ad, which will run on an advertising server. According to its policy, all html5 banners can contain only images and one html file, and all the css and js codes should be the part of the .html file.
So my question is how to embed all the JS code into the html?
If I publish the project, Edge Animate generates a *_edge.js file beside the html file, and I tried several solutions to embed this code into the HTML file, but the result was a blank white page all the time
Thank you in advance,
The Edge runtime looks specifically for that *_edge.js file, and if it couldn't find that file, it'll give error which will obstruct the animation.
We can understand your problem, and Adobe may consider providing a solution in this case in the next release of Edge Animate.
Thank you for your answer, I would very appreciate it, and I think many others, who creates html5 banner ads to advertising servers who has strickt policies.
Flash CC also generates a JS file beside the html file, but it is not a problem to copy its code into the html file. The same solution in Edge Animate would be perfect
