R_Kelly Nov 30, 2014 6:57 PM (in response to AdobeIdUser2)Depending on the effect you might try Edit>Fade

2. Re: Is there option "opacity last action"?
Silkrooster Nov 30, 2014 9:42 PM (in response to AdobeIdUser2)Yeah, the option you showed is Edit>Fade, however Photoshop has a feature called styles, this can accomplish the effect you are after, allowing you to also adjust the opacity of the highlight and shadows. It can also adjust the opacity of the style effect.
Since this is a style, it is repeatable as all styles can be saved
Where Edit>Fade will come into play is filters. But only when used directly after applying a filter.
What is recommended is to convert the layer to a smart object then apply a filter. Now in the layer you can adjust the opacity and blend mode any time you choose s long as you save in a format that support layers and its effects such as psd or tiff.

Silkrooster Dec 1, 2014 9:39 PM (in response to AdobeIdUser2)Why don't you mark R_Kelly's post as correct, so other viewer can go onto other threads to help there. Since there is no need for further help unless you feel you need more help with this issue.
