1. Re: Captivate 7: Text boxes do not move appear or disappear when published or previewed
Lilybiri Dec 1, 2014 8:28 AM (in response to CB Brown)Suspect you have a pausing on the slide. Can you please post a screenshot of its timeline?

Captiv8r Dec 2, 2014 9:43 AM (in response to Captiv8r)Note that my intent wasn't to poke fun, just that you need to adjust the pause point for each button to be at least beyond the last object you wish to present. From the looks of the images, that would be about 37 seconds.

5. Re: Captivate 7: Text boxes do not move appear or disappear when published or previewed
Lilybiri Dec 2, 2014 9:45 AM (in response to Captiv8r)Rick, now that they are hiding Timeline in newbies interface, it will not improve. Timeline is the core of Captivate, and knowing about pausing. Problem is that the slide audio continues playing whereas the playhead remains at the pausing point That confuses a lot of people.
@CB Brown The playhead will stop at that pausing point, waiting for the user to click. Is there a specific reason why you made that pausing point so early, because that is not the default time which is 1.5 secs?

6. Re: Captivate 7: Text boxes do not move appear or disappear when published or previewed
Captiv8r Dec 2, 2014 10:02 AM (in response to Lilybiri)Yeah, I'm thinking that one way they could very easily alleviate this exact situation would be to take the "play this slide" type of preview and just stop the playhead at the pause point!
Until then, we will continue to see this situation play out day after day with frustrated users.
Cheers... Rick
