I created a path with a few points to approximate the mask I would later detail. Now that I am detailing the vector path with more points, every point I add has bezier handles. In this case, I am spending more time correcting Photoshop's auto-smooth/bezier algorithm, than I would if they were all points without handles.
A simple solution would be to start a new path, where I could simply point and click each new point, without having to adjust the last point's wildly variable handles.
Is there any way to tell Photoshop to create new points on an existing path without the behavior of adjusting handles automatically?
Immediately after placing your new point, ALT+click on it. To speed this up, ALT+double click to place your points.
Don't know what you have against Bezier handles. I find I need way fewer points with them.
Thanks! That works well.
I have always disliked bezier handles, they just provide too much control.
