2. Re: Dreamweaver can no longer connect to my sftp host
htm2112 Dec 2, 2014 9:18 AM (in response to Nancy O.)As previously mentioned, I have already tried that. In fact, I have tried that several times, which is why I moved to using Revo Uninstaller, which did not help either. After re-installing CS 5.5, Dreamweaver cannot connect to my sftp host, whereas all my other tools can using the same credentials.
Additionally, I find that after re-installing 5.5, when I go to Sites, my site connection information is still there. Why is that? I would think that with all these steps, that would be wiped out.

4. Re: Dreamweaver can no longer connect to my sftp host
htm2112 Dec 2, 2014 10:48 AM (in response to Nancy O.)I rebooted and tried again to install Dreamweaver. This time it completed. Still nothing has changed and and the Files tab still had all my sites and connections in it. Of course, the problematice one connecting with sftp did not work. For some reason, the uninstall of CS 5.5, even when using the Cleaner Tool, does not clear some file reposnsible for keeping these connection settings. I believe that may be the problem.
I would hate to have to re-install windows in order to get this issue resolved.
Any ideas?

5. Re: Dreamweaver can no longer connect to my sftp host
Nancy O. Dec 2, 2014 1:03 PM (in response to htm2112)Do you have any other versions of DW on your system?
CS5 might be pulling in site credentials from an older version.

6. Re: Dreamweaver can no longer connect to my sftp host
htm2112 Dec 2, 2014 1:29 PM (in response to Nancy O.)I did install Dreamweaver 2014 to troubleshoot. I found that worked. But when the trial ran out, I uninstalled it.
I don't think it is pulling in credentials from that though, because I only used Dreamweaver 2014 to try and connect to the one server that uses sftp which Dreamweaver CS 5.5 was not connecting to. The Sites panel shows all my websites.
