OldBob1957 Dec 2, 2014 10:43 AM (in response to Prefrences have been dele)This seems to have cropped up a lot recently. What has seemed to work so far is intentionally resetting your preferences:
Reset Preferences
1) Close the program and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Win)/Cmd+Option+Shift (Mac) during startup (not reversible)
or
2) Move the Folder. See:

if you are using mac
Go>Go to Folder
~/library/preferences
please check are you able to find the folder Photoshop CS6 setting
if you are please move that folder to the desktop
*Make sure the Photoshop is not Running in the background
then restart the Photoshop CS6
